Bellamy Harbor

Bellamy Harbor

Bellamy Harbor Park is a scenic waterside public park that is part of the Erie Canalway Trail. Boats traveling on the Erie Canal can dock here. The park is free to use and features a small boat launch for kayaks and canoes, picnic areas, and walking paths along the canal. It's a popular spot for fishing, boating, birding, and enjoying views of the waterway and passing boats. There are also public bathrooms and showers available at the nearby Navigation Center in Bellamy Harbor Park. These facilities are open weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM while an attendant is on duty. If you need access outside these hours (until 9:00 PM on weeknights), you can request remote access by calling the Rome Fire Department at (315) 339-7784. Provide your information, and they will give you instructions for remote access. You can also request advance access or ask about "weekend passes" and "season passes".
